About Jim Nuzzo

Jim Nuzzo has been entertaining New Jersey for over 30 years. In the 70's and 80's he led bands such as DISTINGUISHED COMPANY, RARITAN, AND NETWORK. In 1984, Jim went on to a solo career performing in various venues throughout NJ. In 1989 Jim along with Academy Award winning songwriter Franke Previte penned "Coming Home" recorded by Grammy Award winning recording artist Kim Carnes (Bette Davis Eyes) for the motion picture "Rude Awakening". In the early 1990s Jim penned "SUBWAY" which turned into a cult baseball classic in 2000 when the Yanks and the Mets met in the Series. Jim's vocal performances these days consist of a mixture of his original music with classic pop music such as Billy Joel, Elton John, Frank Sinatra. He also performs extensive instrumental piano music consisting of everything from Gershwin to the Beatles. Aside from music, Jim enjoys playing golf and squash and coaching youth soccer. He resides in Edison, NJ with his wife Beverly, and their two children, Jackie and James.
